In the heart of upstate New York, a fierce turf war engulfs the city, drawing aging mob enforcer Michael into a whirlpool of danger and duty. Tasked with retrieving the Don's wayward son from his reckless college lifestyle, the mission quickly takes a perilous turn when they narrowly escape a lethal ambush on their journey home. Seeking sanctuary, Michael takes refuge at an unassuming rural homestead, imposing on the existence of a solitary mother and her adolescent son. As the city's violence ascends into chaos, Michael is instructed to lie low, safeguarding the Don's heir amidst the hostile environment of their unwilling hosts. But as shadows of their dark pasts loom ominously, threatening to intertwine in a destructive confrontation, Michael must navigate a peaceful resolution. A man who has always found solace in the power of force, he is confronted with a daunting task - to maintain tranquility and contemplate whether he should liberate the Don's son from the suffocating cycle of violence that has blighted their lineage for generations.
