In the tranquil isolation of the countryside, Sarah and her husband attempt to find peace, only for their college-aged son, Loic, to grow restless in the solitude. Tragedy strikes, leaving Sarah alone in the house a year later, her world colored by loss. Her grief is so consuming that it seeps into her job at the hospital, causing her to be sent home in the early morning hours. A late-night encounter with the police warns her of a string of burglaries plaguing the area, planting seeds of fear and unease.
