Sixteen-year-old Alex Taylor, blind since the age of two, nurses an audacious dream: to run for his high school's cross-country team. Alex's aspiration may seem improbable, yet his resolve is unwavering. Geoff Taylor, Alex's father and a probation officer for troubled teens, orchestrates an unexpected partnership: Brad Coleman, a gifted runner who uses his talent not on the track but to evade the law.
