Police officer Stephen Russell’s life turns upside down when he’s almost killed in a car accident. No longer content to live a lie, he comes out as gay to his wife, moves to a new city and begins living happily. However, he begins working as a con man, using his previous experience as a police officer to avoid trouble while building his fortune to fund an extravagant lifestyle. Stephen falls in love with another man, Philip Morris, and engages in a series of comical and fraudulent schemes to win Phillip’s affections.
