In the expansive landscapes of Texas, a young Danish man named Pelle finds himself at the end of his traveling tether. He's ready to return home, leaving his companions to continue their journey. A chance encounter with a kind-hearted waitress leads him to an empty bedroom and an unexpected connection with her flatmate, Veronica. Their bond is instant, sparking two days of laughter, shared secrets, and playful nicknames – "Milhouse" and "Lisa."
