The S.H.E.L.L. system, a complex network of internal nanomachines, has eradicated disease, nullified injury, and promised a lifespan of 120 years, devoid of illness. Yet, the shadow of this utopia reveals a distorted landscape: crippling economic disparities, moral decay born from immortality, rampant environmental pollution, and the chilling 'Human Lost' phenomenon, where individuals disconnected from the S.H.E.L.L. network grotesquely mutate. Japan oscillates precariously on the brink of two possible futures: the rebirth of civilization or its impending demise. This risky venture spirals into a violent conflict. A fateful encounter with a malformed victim of the Human Lost phenomenon, a 'Lost,' propels Youzou into the periphery of the anti-Lost agency, H.I.L.A.M. His life is saved by Yoshiko Hiiragi, a girl with puzzling abilities. This awakening pulls the veil off Youzou's own extraordinary powers. A dance of degradation and death. Life and hope.
