Plot

In the chilling underbelly of the city, hardened detective Sang-gil and his greenhorn partner Eun-yeong find themselves entangled in a case that appears to be nothing more than a tragic act of self-immolation. Initially, Sang-gil dismisses the incident as an unfortunate accident. However, the discovery of dog bite marks on the charred body ignites a spark of suspicion, leading him to believe they're dealing with a calculated act of terror and murder. As they delve deeper, they unearth a sinister trail involving drugs found in the victim's body and a disturbing revelation of the victim's involvement in a young girls trafficking ring. Simultaneously, another chilling murder scene unfolds, involving a half-wolf, half-dog beast, casting a grim shadow over the city. The two seemingly disparate cases are soon branded as the work of a serial killer. With a web of connections between the victims beginning to unravel, Sang-gil and Eun-yeong zero in on a potential witness. But as they start to peel back the layers of truth, they are blindsided when one of the enigmatic wolf-dogs strikes without warning, claiming the life of the witness and leaving the detectives in a state of shock. Engulfed in a twist of mystery and fear, the two officers must navigate the treacherous terrain of a case that is anything but straightforward.
