House (2008)

In the heart of rural Alabama, two unsuspecting couples find themselves embroiled in a sinister game of survival. After their cars are mysteriously wrecked, they flee from the wreckage only to find themselves drawn to an eerily secluded house, inhabited by enigmatic backwoods dwellers. Little do they know, their refuge is a lethal trap set by a malevolent entity known as the Tin Man. The house, an ominous entity in its own right, becomes their prison. As the couples huddle around an ancient fireplace, a chilling decree tumbles down the chimney, printed on a discarded tin can. The macabre message, the twisted "House Rules," are the Tin Man's sadistic terms for their survival: they must sacrifice one of their own by dawn, or meet their collective demise. With less than 12 hours on the merciless ticking clock, the couples realise escaping the house is as treacherous as delving deeper into its mysterious depths, where unknown and potentially deadly challenges lurk. Their frantic search for escape takes a disquieting turn when they encounter Susan, an enigmatic little girl. But is she their saviour or another pawn of the Tin Man? As the dawn looms, the desperate couples grapple with the grim reality - their very survival hinges on unmasking the true nature of their adversaries, and potentially, each other. In this house of horrors, they learn that the only way out... is in.
