In the gritty landscape of the boxing world, we find Johnny Walker, a down-on-his-luck cowboy turned pugilist. Once a bright star in the ring, Johnny's glory days are a fading memory, and his health is a shattered remnant of his former invincibility. His years of relentless fighting have left him with a deteriorating brain injury, a ticking time bomb threatening to detonate his existence. Johnny's world is one of contrasts. He's tough as nails and quick to anger, yet beneath this hardened exterior lies a shy, simple-minded soul. He has a penchant for spitting at those who cross him, and yet, he harbors an unspoken love for Ruby, the spirited owner of a struggling seaside amusement park. Despite their connection, Johnny's rough edges and quiet turmoil keep him from confessing his feelings. As Johnny grapples with his fading boxing career, he crosses paths with Wesley Pendergass, a slick, street-smart criminal with a charismatic charm. Pendergass pulls Johnny into his world of dark alley philosophy and dangerous schemes, introducing him to a diamond heist that promises quick riches. As the clock winds down on Johnny's boxing career, he finds himself torn between the lure of one last high-stakes fight and the perilous allure of Pendergass' criminal underworld. A ten-round title fight dangles before him, a tantalizing chance to rise from the ashes of his past. His doctor warns against it, but Johnny is a man desperate to escape his reality. Caught between love and self-destruction, redemption and ruin, Johnny must navigate this treacherous path. Will he finally express his love for Ruby?
