Plot

In a kingdom seized by the malevolent King Krewl, the Emerald City finds itself under his ruthless rule. The king is hell-bent on marrying his daughter, the fair Princess Gloria, to the detestable courtier Googly-Goo, a man she cannot stomach, for her heart lays with Pon, the humble gardener's lad. In the midst of the turmoil, the lens shifts to a pastoral scene where farmers diligently mount a scarecrow on a pole, oblivious to the impending adventure. Simultaneously, Pon bravely saves Dorothy, a young lass from Kansas, from the clutches of the wicked witch Mombi. It is Mombi who has been entrusted by King Krewl with the chilling task of freezing Princess Gloria's heart, to extinguish her love for Pon. In a parallel world, a mystical ceremony led by an Indian princess breathes life into the Scarecrow. In the whirlwind that follows, Pon rescues the icy-hearted princess and together, they embark on a thrilling quest for help. Their path converges with the newly animated Scarecrow, smitten with the princess, and Button-Bright, a lost American boy. Their journey takes them to the castle of the Tin Emperor, Nick Chopper. After a generous dose of oil, he too succumbs to Gloria's charm. The ensuing chase involves a motley crew - the gallant Sawhorse, the crafty Wizard, and a menagerie of Fred Woodward's animals. Amidst this chaos, Mombi transforms Pon into a Kangaroo, setting the stage for a grand showdown. In this fantastical realm where the ordinary meets the extraordinary, the fate of the Emerald City hangs in the balance. Will love triumph over evil? Will the Scarecrow of Oz rise to his majesty? Only time will tell.
