Plot

In the icy grip of a relentless snowstorm, a ramshackle bus carrying an odd assortment of passengers, including an elusive female convict and her relentless captor, grinds to a halt. Forced to abandon their vehicle, this motley crew seeks shelter in an apparently deserted church nearby, but their relief quickly turns to suspicion. As the weather intensifies outside, so do the tensions within. The motley crew soon discovers they are not alone in this stone-cold sanctuary. A mysterious man, already ensconced within the church's cold confines, confronts them. He has stockpiled food and is seemingly prepared for the worst. But is he merely a recluse seeking solitude, or is he a fugitive evading justice? This unexpected encounter sparks a series of confrontations, exacerbating the already simmering tensions among the stranded passengers. The church, once a symbol of refuge, becomes a crucible of mistrust and fear, as the snow outside blankets their hopes of an early escape. High Voltage (1929) is a chilling tale of survival, suspicion, and strained alliances set against the backdrop of an unforgiving winter storm. With each character's survival hanging by a thread, viewers are drawn into a suspenseful narrative that will keep them guessing till the end.
