Plot

In the bustling heart of Mumbai lies a call center, a microcosm of dreams, desires, and disappointments, where seven lives intertwine amidst the relentless hum of incoming calls. This is the stage for "Hello," an absorbing tale of one night that threatens to unravel the fabric of their lives or perhaps, weave them into a new pattern. At the center of this ensemble is Shyam, a man caught in the quicksand of thwarted ambitions and a dwindling love life. His girlfriend, Priyanka, also a call center agent, is gradually being swept away by an NRI technogeek, leaving Shyam grappling with the fear of loss. Alongside them work Esha, an aspiring model chasing a break that eludes her like a mirage, and Vroom, the man about town, involved in cryptic deeds. The seemingly ordinary life of Radhika, a housewife, is a battlefield, constantly under siege by her domineering mother-in-law. Adding to the mix is the Military Uncle, a grandfather estranged from his grandchild, his heart yearning for connection. Guiding their destinies is the callous Bakshi, the boss, who, in pursuit of his career, agrees to a ruthless right-sizing that threatens to topple their worlds. As the night unfurls, their lives teeter on the brink of drastic change as the shadow of an impending layoff looms large. However, a fateful car accident and an enigmatic call from an unknown caller, believed to be God, sets the scene for a night of revelations. As the narrative is spun in the captivating voice of an auteur, relayed to him by a beautiful woman, it poses the question - will their dreams crumble or find a new path? "Hello," an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's 'One Night @ the Call Center,' is a compelling tale of love, ambition, and redemption set against the backdrop of a globalizing urban India. It is a story from the heart of a thousand and one nights, where survival, identity, and the human spirit are tested in the crucible of a call center.
