Hawa Bodol (2013)

In the heart of Hawa Bodol, we find two childhood chums, Jeet (Parambrata Chattopadhyay) and Raj (Rudranil Ghosh), whose lives have diverged as they've grown older. Jeet, now an executive in a prominent design firm - a legacy from his late father-in-law, and Raj, a struggling musician seeking to make a name for his band. Destiny weaves its tale when they cross paths at a social gathering hosted by one of Jeet's non-Bengali business clients, where Raj becomes smitten with the businessman's daughter, Inka (Neha Panda). Underneath the stars and guided by the hazy allure of alcohol, they express their hidden desires to switch lives, unaware that the universe was listening. The following morning, they awaken to the surreal reality - their souls have swapped bodies. Each friend, now flung into the other's life, grapples with the unfamiliarity and complexities of their new circumstances. Raj, now in Jeet's body, returns to his hometown, Chandannagar, reconnecting with the family he had left behind in his pursuit of musical fame. Simultaneously, Jeet, in Raj's body, ventures home to see his child. Amidst the chaos, Inka, seeking refuge after a spat with her parents, moves in with Raj, unaware that she's actually living with Jeet's soul. As they struggle to navigate each other's careers, they inadvertently bring fresh perspectives. Raj revolutionizes a business deal by suggesting clay over gold dishes, and Jeet, introduces Inka as the new lead singer of the band, earning her rave reviews. In a bid to reclaim their original lives, they recreate the fateful night that caused the swap.
