Plot

In the heart of South Korea's corporate jungle, Choi Bora stands as a pillar of success. Her world takes a turn when she finds herself entangled with her past flame, Kim Il-beom, a passionate contrast to her mundane marital life. As a mother to a newborn and the family's sole provider, due to her husband, Seo Min-ki's recent unemployment, her existence is a blend of routine and responsibility. Yet, the allure of Il-beom's passion pulls her in an intoxicating dance of desire and despair. Bora's relationship with Il-beom is a tangled web of raw sexuality and unspoken affection, a stark contrast to her stale marriage with Min-ki. The unemployed Min-ki, however, is not the clueless husband he appears to be. Behind the facade of aimless wanderings and romance novel indulgences, he is a silent observer, piecing together the puzzle of his wife's infidelity. Bora's trysts with Il-beom leave her caught in a storm of physical and emotional turmoil, yet the pull towards him remains irresistible. On the other side of this covert love affair, Il-beom finds himself ensnared by an obsession for Bora, stirring in him a jealousy that threatens to consume not just him, but her family as well. Stripped of their illicit liaison, their lives fade into a monotonous hue, driving them back into each other's arms time and again. Their relationship, a dance of passion and pain, is a testament to the fact that sometimes, the very thing that damages us is what we can't live without.
