Plot

In this enchanting live-action adaptation of the Brothers Grimm's classic fairy tale, Hansel and Gretel, the children of a destitute woodcutter and his wife, are left to fend for themselves amidst a devastating famine that has seized their humble village. The siblings venture into the heart of the ominous woods, armed with naught but a trail of bread crumbs intended to guide them home. However, their lifeline is swiftly devoured by the forest's ravenous avian inhabitants, leaving them lost and vulnerable. Drawn by a tantalizingly sweet aroma, the hapless children stumble upon a peculiar house, its walls enticingly adorned with gingerbread and candy. Unbeknownst to them, this deceptively inviting abode is the lair of the malevolent witch, Griselda. With a twinkle in her eye and a sinister plan in her heart, Griselda harbors a wicked desire to fatten Hansel for a rather unsavory purpose: to transform him into a mouthwatering gingerbread treat. In this compelling blend of innocence and darkness, Hansel and Gretel must outwit the cunning witch and navigate the treacherous twists of the enchanted forest. Their tale is a testament to the resilience of childhood bravery and the strength of sibling bonds, even in the face of overwhelming adversities.
