Hands Across the Border (1944)

In the sun-drenched landscapes of the Wild West, generations of the Adams family have built a legacy, breeding the finest horses near the bustling town of Buckaroo. Bronze statues of Adams' ancestors stand testament to their heritage in the town square, their horses having once been the pride of the government cavalry. The current patriarch, Jeff Adams (Joseph Crehan), is a man more interested in the thrill of a gamble than the intricacies of business. This weakness allows the cunning and ambitious Buckaroo businessman, Brock Danver (Onslow Stevens), to snatch away the coveted government horse contract, setting his predatory sights on more than just business - the Adams ranch and Jeff's charming, starry-eyed daughter Kim (Ruth Terry) included. Amidst the dust and deception, Roy rides out to reclaim what rightfully belongs to the Adams family. With the newly trained Trigger under him, he dares to challenge Danver in a high-stakes race, a daring bid to win back the government contract and restore the Adams' honor.
