Guest House Paradiso (1999)

In the dismal depths of the United Kingdom, we find Richard "Richie" Twat and Edward "Eddie" Elizabeth Ndingombaba, two hapless souls running the abominable establishment known as Guest House Paradiso. Perilously perched next to a nuclear power plant, the hotel is a haven for the absurd and the unfortunate, featuring a fugitive chef and a runaway mental patient masquerading as a waiter. Once the unsuspecting patrons sign their names at the reception, an escape becomes their sole yearning. However, a flicker of hope ignites for the luck-starved Richie and Eddie when the Italian silver screen siren, Gina Carbonara, decides to grace their hotel with her presence, seeking refuge from her despicable fiancé, Gino Bolognese. Along with her arrival, the seemingly ordinary Nice family checks in, leading Richie through a discovery involving rubber undergarments that's as intriguing as it is bizarre. Just when you think the situation couldn't spiral any further into chaos, it does. Richie and Eddie's culinary misadventure involving radioactive fish turns supper into a disastrous spectacle. Concurrently, Gino manages to track down the hiding Gina, and the hotel's already ailing guests are plunged into a maelstrom of sickness. Amidst the mayhem, Guest House Paradiso becomes an unforgettable comedy of errors, where checking in is easy but checking out is a desperate desire.
