Grizzly Falls (1999)

In the heart of the wilderness, an elderly man weaves a tale of his adventurous youth to his wide-eyed grandchildren. After the passing of his mother, his often-absent father, a stranger in his life, takes him into the untamed wilds on a quest to hunt a grizzly bear. Their hunt leads them to a mother bear fiercely protecting her two cubs. While the hunters manage to ensnare the cubs, the tables turn as the grizzly captures the young boy. In an unexpected twist, a bond forms between the boy and the bear as they embark on a remarkable journey across the sprawling forest. Hot on their trail are the father and a First Nations ally, driven by a blend of worry and determination. As their journey unfolds, the boy unravels the destination of their trek - a reunion with the captured cubs. A tense convergence looms as rifles, hounds, hunters, the grizzly, her cubs, and the father and son gravitate towards an inevitable rendezvous. In a world where nature clashes with humanity, the lines between hunter and hunted blur, and the wilderness becomes a stage for a tale of survival, family, and unexpected alliances.
