The Way Way Back (2013)

Teenage Duncan is withdrawn and anti-social, but his mother hopes that a visit to the beach will enliven his spirits, get him a tan, and help him meet some girls. Making things less appealing for Duncan is the fact that his mom's disagreeable boyfriend and his daughter are along for the ride. But Duncan's visit to Water Wizz introduces him to a group of adult employees who relish in having fun. He finds a job at Water Wizz and finds an unconventional family. Along with that comes a new sense of confidence and an ability to speak his mind to his family.
