Plot

Acclaimed suspense author Daisy Lowendahl (Bergen) has just penned the demise of a beloved character in her wildly popular series. Her mind teetering on the brink, she courageously decides to face one of her deepest fears: spending a solitary night at her secluded beach house in Long Island, without the comforting presence of her loyal husband, Robbie (Michael Murphy). As she steps into the eerie silence of the house, an unsettling feeling creeps into her bones. She is shocked to find an unexpected guest, Spencer Weaver (Hall), a local youth who claims to be an avid fan. His knowledge of Daisy's life is profoundly intimate, and chillingly precise - a disconcerting blend of admiration and intrusion. Adding an unexpected twist to this tale is the sudden appearance of police detective Eddie Bruno (Brown), alerted by her husband about her solitary state, and sensing the potential danger she might be in. Daisy's fear, once confined to the pages of her novels, now leaps out, gripping her in an immobilizing anxiety. The fog-enshrouded house, once a haven of comfort, now echoes with foreboding whispers of dread. Daisy is ensnared in a harrowing drama that is terrifyingly real, far removed from the fictional thrillers she crafts. Caught in a web of fear, Daisy's only lifeline is her husband, the only one privy to her whereabouts. Time is slipping, and she must muster the courage to reach out to him. Amidst the palpable tension, Daisy faces a chilling question: Are the two men in the house her protectors, or predators? As the plot thickens, Daisy is thrust into the center of a spine-chilling thriller, more menacing than any she has ever written.
