In the heart of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, Mary Ingles, a woman of strength and grace, finds her tranquil homestead life violently disrupted. Pregnant and cherishing the comfort of her two young sons and cherished sister, she is abruptly swept away from her reality by the formidable Shawnee tribe.
