In a world where bravery, selflessness, and human dignity are tested by the relentless, merciless forces of nature, a young pilot finds himself expelled from the military air force for defying an unreasonable command. His career takes a new flight path as he lands a job as a co-pilot for a civilian airline. His blunt honesty and straightforward approach, however, don't earn him any favours among his new colleagues. On a routine flight to Asia, their journey takes an unexpected detour when they receive a distress signal from a volcanic island.
