Plot

In the wake of her mother's abrupt departure, Alaska Rose's life spirals into a vortex of rebellion, defiance, and disorder. Her strained relationship with her single father, Conner, and her escalating mischief in school have left deep scars. As she enters adulthood, her reckless behavior lands her in front of a stern judge, ready to levy the full weight of adult justice upon her. Instead of a bleak prison cell, her sentence is reprieve in the form of community service at a local assisted living facility. A ray of hope? Not quite. She is assigned to Mrs. Foster, a cantankerous elderly resident known for her icy demeanor and biting hostility. Could this stubborn matriarch be the catalyst for Alaska's downfall, or just another hurdle in her quest for freedom? As Alaska grudgingly fulfills her court obligations, she walks on a razor's edge to avoid a real jail term, wrestling with peer pressure, family turmoil, external influences, and haunting ghosts from her past. The road to redemption is fraught with pitfalls, and the question remains: will she successfully navigate the stormy seas to rejuvenate her relationship with her family and God, or will she succumb to the vicious cycle of wrong choices, losing whatever fragment of her old life that's left? The story of Finding Grace is a captivating journey of a girl battling against the tide, teetering on the edge of losing herself in the labyrinth of life's trials and tribulations.
