Plot

In the quaint town of Washington State, Emily Mariposa and her partner Adam nurture a unique business, cultivating butterflies for special events. Their venture, born out of Emily's deep love for nature and the delicate creatures, stands in stark contrast to their chief competitor, Mandy Fisher. Mandy, driven by profit alone and with scant regard for the butterflies' ecological role, is a ruthless adversary, often undercutting Emily's prices. Emily's passion for her work leads her to a birthday celebration, where she crosses paths with single father, Garrett, and his butterfly-loving daughter, Amanda. This chance encounter sparks a friendship and ignites a new opportunity for Emily’s business. Garrett's request for a tour of her butterfly farm hints at the beginnings of a deeper connection, one that Emily hasn't felt since a painful breakup. As Emily navigates her budding feelings, she faces the challenge of a lifetime. Socialite Rebecca O'Keefe throws open a competition between Emily and Mandy, demanding an impossible number of butterflies for her extravagant wedding. The prize? Not just money, but a chance to elevate Emily's business to new heights. With the help of Garrett and Amanda, Emily finds the strength to expand her business, striving to meet Rebecca's audacious request. However, her growing affections for Garrett are put to the test as Jill, Garrett's ex-girlfriend, reenters his life, urging him to move back to New York and take over the family business—a decision that would also benefit Amanda's educational future. In "Feeling Butterflies", Emily must face the challenges of love and rivalry as she strives to keep her business afloat, all while navigating the labyrinth of her emotions in a story that beautifully intertwines nature, ambition, and the intricate dance of human relationships.
