In this festive Father Ted escapade from 1996, our beloved Ted finds himself in a comically precarious situation, leading an unlikely rescue mission of six priests lost in the risqué labyrinth of a local department store's lingerie section. However, as the Christmas season descends upon their remote parish, an unexpected guest arrives. Father Todd Unctious, a man claiming to share a history with Ted, though Ted's memories of him are mysteriously absent. Beneath his friendly facade, Unctious harbours sinister intentions, aiming to steal the newly won Golden Cleric trophy. But thanks to Dougal's nocturnal habits and his affinity for late-night horror flicks, Unctious' plans are thwarted.
As Christmas morning dawns, Ted, in a misguided attempt to ease Mrs Doyle's workload, gifts her an automatic tea-maker, oblivious to the fact that her tea-making ritual is her ultimate delight. This heart-warming yet comically tragic gesture adds a tender touch to the madcap adventures of our beloved clergy.
