Awakening in the sterile confines of a hospital room, a man finds himself in the grip of fear and disorientation. His face, once familiar, is now a stranger's, courtesy of a full face transplant. Haunted by bizarre flashbacks and plagued by amnesia, the man is ill-equipped to face the world when the hospital discharges him into its uncaring embrace. Life takes an odd turn as a mysterious red-haired woman named Sophie enters his life, her intentions as enigmatic as her fiery curls.
