Dabbling in the arcane art of hypnotic regression for past life exploration, Dr. Edmund Redding from the prestigious Cowan Institute in Pasadena unveils a startling truth - Ann Taylor, an unsuspecting subject, is the reincarnation of an ancient Aztec woman. Guided by the memories she reclaims, Redding and his team are led into the heart of the Great Pyramid of Yucatan, their eyes set on the fabled Aztec treasure. What they uncover, however, are two mummified bodies: one modern man, lifeless, and the other an Aztec from a bygone era, eerily alive. Successfully returning to Pasadena with their unique finds, their triumph is short-lived when rival academic, Professor Janney, murders Redding and pilfers the mummy of the modern man. Janney's audacious experiment to resurrect the stolen mummy yields terrifying results - the mummy is a werewolf, which escapes the confines of his laboratory. Concurrently, a thief employed by Janney to steal the Aztec mummy is overpowered, leading to another supernatural entity on the loose. The city of Pasadena becomes a haunting playground for these two menacing creatures as they roam under the cover of darkness...
