Plot

In the throes of adolescence, fifteen-year-old Emma Evans finds herself at odds with her mother, Lucy, over a coveted trip to a concert in London with her companions Rose and Alex. An intense argument sparks a sudden convulsion in Emma, landing her in the hospital, yet perplexingly, the doctors find no physical anomalies. Emma's father, John, advocates for a traditional school setting, but Lucy insists on the safety of homeschooling. Convinced that Emma's troubles are rooted in her psyche, Lucy entrusts her to a psychoanalyst. Emma, seeking answers, persuades her friend Rose to surreptitiously record her hypnotic session. The session takes a horrifying turn when the doctor mysteriously dies, leaving Emma and the recording as the only witnesses. The chilling tape leads Emma to a terrifying conclusion - she is ensnared by demonic possession. Pleading for an exorcism, Emma turns to her uncle, the Priest Christopher Taylor. Lucy remains skeptical, haunted by a past incident where Chris' attempted exorcism resulted in the tragic death of a teenager, Ana. The family's skepticism shatters when they witness Emma levitating in the heart of their kitchen. Faced with the undeniable, they find themselves turning to Chris, ushering in a battle between faith, fear, and the unknown.
