Plot

Welcome to the quirky world of the Hobby Family, where each member is passionately engrossed in their unique pastimes. Our main character, Tom Leslie, finds himself in a moral dilemma: to keep his job, he must publish news in a manner that contradicts his principles. Amidst this turmoil, Tom's wife, an avid stamp-collector, cleverly steers his focus toward his personal passion - photography. In an attempt to escape the predicaments of his job, Tom plans a mountain vacation with his son, an enthusiast of short-wave radio. Their destination is a picturesque locale nestled near a Civilian Conservation Corps camp and a forest-ranger station. However, their tranquil getaway is disrupted when a forest fire engulfs the mountainside. In the face of danger, the hobbies of each family member take centre stage. Their individual pursuits unexpectedly intertwine, becoming invaluable in the crisis. 'Everybody's Hobby' is a testament to the unexpected power of personal passions, vividly showcasing how every hobby holds a value of its own. This film is the first and only in the intended series about 'The Hobby Family', where the mundane becomes extraordinary, and hobbies prove to be much more than mere pastimes.
