Daphne Wilder is a fiercely loving, single mother nearing her sixties, whose life revolves around her three distinct daughters: Maggie, a grounded psychologist; Mae, a vibrant free spirit; and Milly, a sweet and insecure soul who mirrors a moth drawn to the wrong flames of love.
