Evasive Action (1998)

With the imminent closure of Redwood Federal Penitentiary, a deluge of dangerous criminals are about to be uprooted. Among these hardened lawbreakers, the most sinister are earmarked for a high-security transfer to Santa Ana, a cutting-edge facility designed to incarcerate society's most monstrous offenders. The cast of malefactors on this one-way ride to incarceration includes Ian Kelly, a master of destruction responsible for a global spree of terrorist bombings, and Lorenzo "Enzo" Martini, a notorious mafia don who basked in his infamous reputation before the law finally caught up with him. Alongside them is Karl "The Killer" Miller, a remorseless serial murderer who craves bloodshed, and Tommy "Zimm" Zimmer, a lifer with a dark history of marital homicide. Completing this lineup is Luke Sinclair, who's nearing the end of a 15-year sentence for avenging the death of his wife. As these ferocious convicts, under the hawk-eyed supervision of security, take their places in the last car of the train, an undercurrent of tension suggests a plot to escape is brewing... The journey to Santa Ana promises to be anything but straightforward.
