Submerged in the depths of a mysteriously stark power supply complex, Elliot, a solitary maintenance worker, navigates his monotonous life under the watchful eyes of omnipresent sentries. His only source of human contact is Face, a supervisor who communicates through an intricate network of screens and loudspeakers scattered within the facility. The shackles of surveillance only loosen during the rare moments of solitude that Elliot savors, plunging himself into a pod that transports him into an alternate universe. In this parallel existence, Elliot is the person he yearns to be, basking in an idealized version of himself. The more he immerses himself in this artificial world, the more it seduces him, sowing seeds of doubt about his own reality. A growing obsession gnaws at the edges of his sanity, the pressure of his job intertwining with the tantalizing allure of a world that may or may not exist.
