As Spain and England prepare for war, Queen Elizabeth must fight to keep her country safe. As a Protestant, she’ll find little support in Europe, and Spain will seize any opportunity to invade her country. The Queen’s Protestant cousin, Mary, Queen of Scots, is eager to claim the throne herself, and plots with elements within England to take down Queen Elizabeth. Meanwhile, the Queen is falling in love with the dashing explorer Walter Raleigh, but can she build a romance when she’s committed herself to serve England as the Virgin Queen?
