Brian Connor, an executive at the helm of his family's multi-billion dollar tech empire in San Francisco, finds himself at the crossroads of heartbreak and career obsession. His relentless pursuit of success becomes the catalyst for the dissolution of his five-year relationship with his fiancée, Julie. Seeking solace and an escape from the haunting memories of Julie, Brian relocates to the quaint town of Seabrook, Maine, with a mission to transform a newly-acquired web hosting company.
