From the far reaches of Eastern Europe – Russia, Ukraine, Romania – they arrive. Young men, barely out of their boyhood, their ages as elusive as their histories. They are the Eastern Boys, an enigmatic group that haunts the bustling heart of Paris, the Gare du Nord train station. The nature of their business is uncertain; they may be engaging in illicit trade of flesh, but certainty is a luxury in their world. Among the sea of faces, one stands out to Daniel, a man well into his late fifties, living a life of quiet solitude. Marek. His interest piqued, Daniel musters the courage to approach him. An agreement is made. Marek is to visit Daniel's home the following day. As the doorbell rings, Daniel stands unaware on the precipice of a sinister plot.
