Plot

As the sun dips below the horizon, an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting springs to life, its attendees gathered under the weight of their shared burden. Jim, visibly distressed, is prodded by his sponsor to speak after a silent seven months. He unravels his tale, a poignant confession that echoes in the room long after he abruptly exits the meeting. As darkness swathes the city, Jim embarks on a nocturnal odyssey through his past haunts - bars that once served as his refuge and parks that were his clandestine drug markets. Back at the meeting, the narrative continues without him, a chorus of voices each bearing their own cross. There's Louis, a man who humorously insists he stumbled upon the meeting while seeking choir practice, refusing to label himself an alcoholic. Then, there's Joseph, haunted by the guilt of nearly causing his child's death due to his drinking. As the night unfolds, their stories weave together a raw and compelling tapestry of survival and addiction, each tale a testament to their shared struggle. Within the safe confines of the meeting, they unravel their lives, their voices echoing the symphony of resilience.
