Plot

In the vibrant chaos of city life, meet Ta Sha, a reckless youth on a bicycle, wreaking havoc for his own amusement. His antics soon provoke the ire of his affluent rival, Chan Chuen-Chung. An intense face-off between the two results in Ta Sha's humiliation, igniting the fuse of a dangerous vendetta. Aided by his comrades, Ta Sha orchestrates an explosive ambush, employing fireworks as their weapon of choice. However, the tables turn when Chan, alongside his brother Yu Ping, deftly evade the trap, turning the gang's own weapons against them. A stray firework, lit inadvertently by Chan, gravely injures Ta Sha, leading to a terrifying escalation of the feud. Infuriated by his son's condition, Ta Sha's father summons Iron Steel, a notorious assassin, with a chilling mandate: to annihilate Chan and his family. Iron Steel executes his task with ruthless precision, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. However, fortune spares Chan, who returns to find his home in ashes and his family gone. Overwhelmed by grief, he wanders aimlessly, his path intertwining with a humble puppeteer and his wife. The puppeteer, under the guise of a simple entertainer, is a master of Tai Chi, the only martial art capable of countering the deadly skills of Iron Steel. After a series of narrow escapes from the relentless assassin, the puppeteer unveils his secret identity, taking Chan under his wing. As Chan learns the rhythmic dance of Tai Chi, he uncovers the gruesome truth: his family didn't perish in a fire, but were murdered on the orders of Ta Sha's vengeful father. Fueled by a desire for justice, Chan masters the art of Tai Chi, preparing for a final showdown. The stage is set for an epic battle, where Chan must confront Ta Sha's father and the lethal Iron Steel, fighting not just for revenge, but for the honor of his fallen family. This tale of rivalry, vengeance, and redemption unfurls in "Drunken Tai Chi", a gripping saga of conflict and transformation.
