Caught in the gritty underbelly of Las Vegas, Art Mathews (Rick Lundgren), a former police officer turned desolate drunk, wrestles with the unsolved murder of his wife, Helen. His relentless pursuit for justice meets a dead end, resulting in several instances of police brutality and an indefinite suspension. The story takes a sinister turn with Henry Falcon (Stephen Medvidick) - a taxi driver with a dark secret. He's a serial killer, plagued by multiple personality disorder, whose latest obsession is managed by a man with ties to a dead call girl, Reggie (Lorenzo Lamas). Reggie, who once managed the deceased call girl and now oversees Henry's latest infatuation, runs an escort service. The murder of Helen remains a mystery, but the breadcrumbs left behind by the dead call girl point ominously towards Reggie. Meanwhile, Detective Hutchins (Jason James Richter), Art's old partner, attempts to keep a watchful eye over his wayward friend. However, as Art inches closer to the truth, Hutchins struggles to maintain control. As the plot thickens, Henry's already fragile psyche begins to crumble, unleashing his lethal alter ego. The death toll begins to climb, ratcheting up the tension as the plot races towards a chilling climax. With its captivating characters and complex narrative, 'Driver' is a dark, suspenseful journey into the psyche of a killer and the relentless pursuit of justice.
