Shooter (2007)

Marine Corps sniper Bob Lee Swagger and his spotter Donnie Fenn execute a mission in Eritrea. After completing their objective, Donnie is gunned down by enemy forces and killed. Swagger returns home and lives in a remote cabin three years later. Isaac Johnson approaches Swagger to help prevent the assassination of the US President. While searching for the assassin, the Ethiopian archbishop is instead assassinated. Swagger finds himself accused of being the shooter and goes on the run. He'll need to avoid the powers responsible for the assassination in order to clear his name. Plus, Swagger must bring the responsible party to justice.
