Plot

In the whirlwind life of George Lester, chasing elusive dreams is his favorite pastime. This constant pursuit of the next big thing, however, takes a toll on his wife, Pamela, who grows weary of their nomadic existence. In a bid for stability, she separates from him, leaving George to his own devices. In her absence, George, ever the opportunist, transforms her family estate into a pulsating discotheque. Upon Pamela's unexpected return, she is appalled at the transformation and threatens George with legal action for committing fraud without her consent. Caught in a financial bind, George turns to his old partner in crime, William Homer, fondly known as Willy. However, Willy's pockets are not as deep as George hoped. With his back against the wall, George contemplates a daring heist – stealing blueprints for a revolutionary drill that Dudley Heath, Pamela’s new admirer, is developing. But life throws another curveball when George contracts the mumps, preventing him from meeting the potential buyers. Trapped in a precarious catch-22, George refuses to hand over the plans without payment, while the buyers insist on seeing the goods before parting with their cash. This tension sets the stage for a thrilling roller-coaster ride, where George must outwit everyone else to safeguard his interests and win back the woman he loves.
