Plot

In the tranquil seaside town of Southport, lives Frank Morrison, a divorced custom boat builder, and his 12-year-old rebellious son, Danny. Struggling to maintain his role as a responsible father amidst the chaos of separation, Frank's life becomes further complicated when Susan, his ex-wife, announces her impending marriage to the affluent businessman, Rick Barnes. As the wedding bells start to chime, Danny's disapproval of the union grows stronger, his resentment towards Rick manifesting as an act of defiance one night.
