Plot

In the heart of Peru, the tale of infamous bank robber Orlando Gonzáles, fondly known as Django, unfolds in a whirlwind of high-stakes heists and emotional turmoil. This film plunges into the life of Django, not merely recounting his notorious exploits, but delving deeper into the driving forces that propelled him down this perilous path. A man determined to defy his fate of poverty, Django fights back with audacious courage and cunning. After a hiatus, Django returns to the capital, bringing with him his wife, Tania, and their children, intent on resuming his life of crime. Tania, however, is a woman caught in a battle of love and fear, desperately trying to steer her husband away from the dangerous road he treads. Despite her efforts, Django remains unswayed, ensnared in a life he believes is his only escape from destitution. The plot thickens when Django encounters Melissa, a woman whose allure is as intoxicating as her ties to the criminal underworld. Together, they plunge headfirst into a passionate affair, their lives entwining tighter with each passing day. Unaware of the inescapable trap they are walking into, they live recklessly, surrendering to a world where consequences are an afterthought and freedom a fading illusion. "Django: La otra cara" weaves a tale of crime and passion, painting an intricate portrait of a man who chose to challenge his destiny, only to find himself entangled in a web of his own making.
