Charismatic chef Dave Oberlin's (Ryan Rottman) once flourishing career spirals into chaos when a heated encounter with a renowned food critic becomes public spectacle. As the culinary world turns its back on him, Dave finds refuge in teaching at his friend's culinary academy. Parallelly, ambitious cardiologist Dr. Nina Kirby (Maya Stojan) finds herself at the precipice of a significant promotion at the local hospital. However, the Head of Cardiology places an unusual condition: she must persuade the disgraced chef, Dave, to lead Healthy Living seminars.
Nina, despite her prowess in the operating room, is a novice in the kitchen and is far from enthusiastic about learning the culinary arts. Inspired by her best friend and colleague, Olivia (Tanya Chisholm), she reluctantly enrolls in Dave's class. When Dave learns of his new role in the Healthy Living seminars, he is less than thrilled, largely due to Nina's apparent indifference towards his class.
As Nina tries to convince Dave to collaborate, they stumble upon an unexpected camaraderie. This tale of redemption and aspiration swirls together the contrasting worlds of gourmet cooking and cardiology, leading to a deliciously unexpected alliance.
