Plot

In the throbbing heart of metal music, we find Brodie, a dedicated metalhead, forced to exist in the suffocating confines of his devout Christian relatives' home after his mother's drug-induced downfall. Misfit and misunderstood, Brodie's life takes a wild turn when he encounters the enigmatic Zakk in the labyrinth of a local record store. United by their pulsating love for metal, they create the thunderous band, Deathgasm, with fellow eccentrics Dion and Giles. Their routine of rebellion takes a sinister twist when Brodie and Zakk infiltrate the sanctum of metal legend Rikki Daggers, stumbling upon a cryptic relic - The Black Hymn. Unleashing the ferocious chords of The Black Hymn, Deathgasm unwittingly summon Aeloth, a malevolent demon, who takes possession of the unsuspecting townsfolk. In this world gone mad, it falls upon the unlikely heroes of Deathgasm and the town's golden girl, Medina, to combat the demonic horde, avert the impending apocalypse, and reclaim their town. With the pulse of their music as their weapon, they must fight to restore harmony, both in their music and their world.
