Deadly Isolation (2005)

Deep in the northern woods, a devious web of deceit is woven by Patrick Carlson and his volatile partner in crime, Kyle Mumford. After executing a high-stakes diamond heist in San Francisco, they lie low, waiting for their third accomplice to deliver their sparkling bounty. The loot, they learn, is presumably tucked away with Susan, the unsuspecting widow of Professor Ron Mandaway, who is believed to have hidden the diamonds before his tragic suicide. Under the guise of Jeff Watkins, a retired entrepreneur recuperating from a yachting accident, Patrick infiltrates the tranquil island community off the coast of Maine, where Susan resides in her secluded luxury villa. Struggling with her grief, Susan is charmed by Jeff's facade, granting him access to her life and possible secrets. But the elusive diamonds remain hidden, and Susan appears oblivious to their existence. Meanwhile, the ticking time bomb that is Kyle Mumford grows restless. His impatience threatens to unravel their scheme, and they face another rising threat in the form of the local law enforcement. Sheriff Kirby Grantham, a regular visitor to Susan's house, begins to suspect that Jeff is not who he claims to be. In this chilling tale of greed, deception, and betrayal, the tension mounts as the convicts inch closer to the diamonds, while Susan, still mourning her late husband, becomes embroiled in a deadly game she never signed up for.
