Deadly Intent (2016)

In the aftermath of a heartbreaking loss, Bryony grapples with the echoes of her husband's death, a soldier once stationed in Afghanistan. As she attempts to piece together a fresh existence for herself and her young son, James, she is consumed by the shroud of her own sorrow, blind to the disturbing changes shadowing her son's behavior. James, sinking deeper into solitude, dedicates endless hours to macabre games, recreating death scenes with his playthings. When objects mysteriously disappear and furniture is left in shards, Bryony's suspicion falls heavily on James. However, when she is finally compelled to confront him, she is plunged into a reality far more chilling than her darkest dreams. As her world crumbles, Bryony is faced with the horrifying realization that if she fails to bridge the chasm between her and her son, they are destined to be forever divided.
