Samantha's marriage hovers at the brink of dissolution, and she seeks solace in the sun-drenched shores of Florida, accompanied by her teenage daughter. They check into their hotel, oblivious that they've caught the predatory eye of Javier, a charismatic skipper with a sinister penchant for single women.
