Plot

In the seemingly tranquil seaside town of Potters Bluff, Rhode Island, Sheriff Daniel Gillis enjoys a quiet life with his wife, Janet, a beloved local school teacher. However, this serene existence is shattered when a string of inexplicable murders start to plague the close-knit community. Strangers and passersby are brutally slain by mobs of the town's own inhabitants, leaving Sheriff Gillis grappling for answers in a whirlpool of chaos. As the body count escalates, Potters Bluff's affable undertaker, William G. Dobbs, reveals a peculiar enthusiasm for the sudden death-wave, his business thriving amidst the terror. Gillis, desperate for answers, stumbles upon a collection of witchcraft and voodoo paraphernalia concealed in his wife's drawer, casting a chilling shadow of suspicion over Janet's innocent facade. In his relentless pursuit of truth, Sheriff Gillis finds himself unearthing secrets darker than the town's coastal fog, leading him to Dobbs' mortuary doors. As he dives deeper into the belly of the mystery, Gillis uncovers a horrifying revelation that shakes the very foundation of Potters Bluff, and his life, to its core. "Dead & Buried" is an eerie voyage into a town's hidden darkness, where the boundaries of life and death blur, and chilling secrets lurk behind friendly smiles. It's a tale that captivates with its unpredictable twists, leaving viewers on a knife-edge of suspense from beginning to end.
