In the chilling aftermath of a global nuclear cataclysm, Jim Maddison, a pragmatic rancher, has anticipated the unthinkable. He's prepared an isolated sanctuary for his daughter Louise, their friend Rick, a scientific geologist, and himself. Their refuge is carefully stocked with essential supplies, intended to endure until the lethal radiation dissipates.
