In the ruthless landscape of Hollywood called "The Business," Mia Roarke, an actress on the precipice of 40, grapples with her fading limelight. Once a shining star, Mia now contends with the harsh reality of her dwindling career prospects. Every opportunity seems to slip through her fingers, each failure a self-inflicted wound in the unforgiving world where youth is the reigning queen. Battling the bitter truth of being deemed 'too old' and no longer bankable, she finds herself wrestling with her own insecurities. Her agent is on the verge of giving up on her, while she bears the burden of a domineering mother and an ex-husband on the cusp of fame.
